Ceramic Coating

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer sealant that chemically bonds to your vehicle’s factory paint, creating a layer of protection. Ceramic coatings are made up of SiO2 Silicon Dioxide with a combination of other chemicals to make it last much longer and protect the paint from UV rays, chemical stains and etching.

Ceramic coatings make it much easier to clean the surface of the paint as it creates a super hydrophobic surface that repels water and dirt. On top of all the protection and ease of use, it also adds a beautiful deep gloss to your vehicle’s paint, enhancing the reflective properties of the clear coat.

What is it?

Protection: A ceramic coat on your automotive vehicle provides the pinnacle of protection without the use of paint protection film. In layman's terms, ceramic coats can be envisioned as a temporary (3-5 years) glass-like layer applied on top of the paint/surface of your vehicle. Leading on from this envisionment, you can expect your ceramic coat to provide physical protection from light scratching, chemical protection from harmful contaminants found through constant exposure to the elements, and Ultra-Violet (UV) ray protection from the sun.

Aesthetic: A ceramic coat produces an unparalleled level of gloss and clarity on your vehicle’s paint. Thanks to its non-porous application, ceramic coats produce linear refractions from light sources, ultimately making your car stand out for its aesthetic appeal.

Hydrophilicity: Everyday driving exposes your vehicle to contaminants that get embedded into your car’s paint/clear coat.

Ceramic coatings work at a molecular level to produce a totally smooth, glossy, and hydrophobic finish to the exterior of your vehicle.

This means dirt particles will simply roll off the surface — keeping your car’s paintwork looking top-top, in pristine condition and making it much easier to clean on an ongoing basis.
